Every home in America used to contain at least one electronic item from Panasonic, whether it was a tape recorder or a curling iron. The brand's spuremacy in the home electronics space faded over time as the business model shifted. Now Panasonic is putting technology to work behind the scenes to power our lives in the 21st century.
The Ask
Transfer the legacy of trust in the Panasonic brand from consumer electronics to B2B solutions.
The Idea
For Panasonic's many pieces of business, we needed to focus on marketing executions that changed the conversation about Panasonic.
The Design Process
For our work related to the TOUGHBOOK brand, we had to make sure the designs looked rugged yet tech savvy and appealed to the audience: first responders and emergency workers. For the truck we integrated a grip metal texture into the exterior designs. For products that focus more on business technology, we used aspects of Panasonic's existing brand and updated it to a cleaner, corporate look.
